Background
Established in 1990, DA built a reputation as an award winning animation company. By 2000, we became a trailblazer in virtual character technology as the architects of Ananova, the world's first virtual newscaster (now owned by Orange).
We went on to develop 'real-time' animation software, capable of reducing the animation process from days to minutes without the loss of quality. Using text and voice inputs alongside simple 'click and drop' instructions, our groundbreaking software instantly brought virtual characters to life with movement, speech and natural expression. The launch of this software won DA worldwide acclaim.
The Head for Channel 4, presenter William Shakespeare for BBC Prime, Maddy who appeared 'live' as a guest presenter on BBC's 'Tomorrow's World' and Seonaid the electronic face of the Scottish Executive and even Eduardo, the wild face of Jim Beam's Aftershock brand, relies on the software.
The growth in the adoption of broadband, satellite and terrestrial digital television channels and 3G services has underpinned the continued development of our technology into a platform and an infrastructure that extends beyond animation technology.
The launch of Yomego, our consumer entertainment brand, means that we are now delivering a range of interactive multimedia solutions to all digital devices. Yomego provides an innovative range of mobile and desktop messaging applications, games, mobile and email alerts, blogging and betting services, interactive video and interactive TV services to brand & media owners.
